The Ranch Five generations of the Mazanec family have lived on this 210-acre working cattle ranch, and current ranching operations include raising registered Simmental and gray Brahman cattle, and tending to our horses and other livestock. Farming operations include the cultivation of native and coastal bermuda grass for grazing and hay. The ranch has wild birds such as the eastern bluebird, egret, roadrunner, crane, dove, hummingbird, scissortail, mallards, widgeons, turkey vultures, killdeer, and many other species. On rare occasions, you may see wild turkeys or Mexican eagles/Caracara. Some of the wildlife roaming the ranch from time to time are armadillos, cottontails and jackrabbits, and the occasional, bobcat, fox and deer. Coyote calls are a frequent occurrence. Cactus, mesquite, wildflowers and other native plants and trees are among the different types of plant life found here. Don't forget your camera and film.
